Shadow of the Moon
Researchers from several prominent magical organisations have put aside their differences to visit areas that had their populations badly affected by the descent of the Wild Hunt, which came abnormally close to civilization in its latest manifestation. They will be visiting the Academy’s campus from early-to-mid November, and will ask to interview anyone badly affected for a description of symptoms and effects caused by the Wild Hunt. These interviews are optional. Participants are assured that this information will remain anonymous and confidential.

Smile, You’re On Camera!
The BBC feature filmed several months ago has finally been released for broadcast! It treats Daybreak as a completely normal private school. The lavish accommodations and beautiful scenery are often mentioned, though keen-eyed observers may notice a few strange cuts and edits here and there...
Any odd incidents, such as a certain student breaking a cameraman’s equipment or the like, are not mentioned in the least.
An uncut copy of the feature is available to any students or staff who would like one. Think of it as a blooper reel bonus for having to act a little bit more normal for the week.

Museum Rebuilding
A previously damaged (and frozen) museum in Germany has announced it is now working on renovations. They are also happy to report that in spite of the strange incidents that have plagued it, most of the staff and visitors have recovered from what is being officially called ‘an odd paralysis’, though many of them will never be the same. They are slightly puzzled by several artifacts now missing from their museum stock, but are willing to overlook it as a payment of sorts to ward off future trouble.

Master(??) Thief
Weapons have been reported going missing in various places. However, they’re generally display items, so most who report it are more annoyed by what’s turned out to be a minor inconvenience than actually distraught. Those who witnessed the theft directly tend to report seeing ‘someone in red armor’ and hearing ‘annoying laughter’.

Stalwart Shields
One of Daybreak’s closest neighbors, the secretive and isolated Tower of Adamant, has temporarily lowered its defenses in order to get some much-needed maintenance work done. A field trip has been tentatively arranged for next month, in order to show current and new students how other schools conduct themselves in daily life and curriculum.

Trainspotting
The Phantom Express has been reported traveling once again, behaving as it normally does as it ferries spirits between the worlds of the living and the dead. It seems content, as much as a train can be content. All is well.
