PLAYER POLL: LAST HERALD EVENT

thewatchersWith the game's last major event approaching (that being the large-scale Herald fight next month), we'd like to pose a question to our current players about an option we've been considering.
We are thinking of opening up the last event as a fourth-wall event, and providing fresh AU planning/CR posts ahead of time specifically so people (and any old characters, should you want to bring them back as well) can return for the finale. (We'll try to provide a varied field of options for both combatants and non-combatants, so it won't all be battle-focused!)
Actually taking down the last Herald will be reserved for in-game players and characters - you've stuck by us all this time, and we wouldn't want to take the spotlight away from you - but given this is a setting that has seen many characters and a lot of love, we'd like to know what you think about this idea!
