PLAYERPLOT PLANNING: HOLLOWS (with Gongenzaka)
Okay guys! So this is a post to hash out further detail from the rough soup I have for Gongenzaka's chunk of the Hollow plot (partly because the original hollow plotting post is a bit old...)! As noted in discord, it:

> Will center on Gongenzaka's grandfather (or....Grandpaw...), who will have determined that all Lycans just don't deserve to live, they're a curse on the world, etc etc and in true hollow fashion he's going for Gon big time.
> Lastly, he's going to be subtly targeting those that Gongenzaka knows.
So let's get started!
That last point is actually key, because the unique thing Grandpaw will be doing is spending the first few days before the Supermoon (I'm not sure how many days just yet, but definitely no more than a week) tracking people. He won't be hurting anyone significantly- it's actually not unlike with Acid Wire...
But more *controlled*. His point is to bait and taunt Gongenzaka with what *he cannot protect them from*. So this is a part where I'm SUPER open to ideas on what should happen, and to who! In addition to this, he'll be tracking Gongenzaka, but rather than directly harming him, simply leaving him with the feeling of being watched, tracked, or similar.
Around the Supermoon, this will all come to its head- Gongenzaka's grandfather will reveal themselves, in *daylight*, when Gon is typically unable to transform (Though I may check with mods to see if Gongenzaka can develop the ability to spur a daylight transformation after this)- and attack.
And that part will go in one fell megathread-type swoop; so it'll take a bit of organizing but is otherwise open to those of Gon's CR, + whoever wants to actually land a crushing blow on the hollow. Because that fight...is not due to go well. Gon is getting pummeled for starters, but also a lot of verbal abuse and trauma is going to be involved given the touchy subject (on Gongenzaka's end, anyway).
It'll also bring up Yuuya's scars from when Gongenzaka attacked him as a bear so....fun.
As it is! We'll need someone to come in and slam down the final blow, whether unannounced, or from the start of the fight.
With that in mind...comment if you want involved! It's mostly centered around Gongenzaka's CR, but it's definitely got windows for those who he doesn't know right now!

YUYA
Like the top post says, the trigger incident for Gon's grandfather hollow is that Gongenzaka attacked and nearly killed Yuya when they were 11. It was overall an accident between two kids, but both of them wholly blame themselves for how much it hurt the other. Yuya generally tries not to talk about this because he doesn't want people to think poorly of Gongenzaka, but with him getting stalked around it's bound to come up.
When Yuya realizes what's going on he's going to try and glue himself to Gon's side because he IS WORRIED. But also without his familiar he has no fighting prowess so /fingerguns at Usagi lets milk that drama.
Otherwise this is post payback which means yuuya will have two familiars, although given the strain of that only odd eyes will hang out on campus sti some the second one is on call once Yuya has a chance to bond.

And Peter tbh, uh,...Helping Gon is definitely an option- if no one with an obvious BIGPUNCH style solution steps to the plate, I'll probably be workshopping with those involved for a more team-up focused take down of the Hollow, if that helps with determining things later.
