Planning Post: The Case of the Missing Weapons
OOC: Hi everyone! Some sad news: I had work throw me a curve ball and just don't have time to run this right now (as the hiatuses indicated). As such, here is what happens:
1. The weapons are found behind a convenience store in Soleil! They are in some eco-friendly canvas bags and marked "PROPERTY OF NOT YOU."
2. The cuccos remain.
3. The culprit... er... will make a future appearance.
Very sorry, everyone! Work did a real number on my schedule.
Hello, everyone!
This plot is called "The Case of the Missing Weapons." While students are on vacation, coming and going from campus, something terrible starts to happen: students' and faculty members' weapons begin to vanish. Sometimes, "weapons" is broad -- for instance -- Wen-li Yang's pen goes missing because it looks like a lightsaber.
With each, a poorly written note is left there. The first round are all attributed to said Yang, though the note reads: "I HAVE STOLEN YOUR WEAPONS! GWAHAHA! YANG WENLY" Other robberies will occur the same way. Weapons vanish while people are out and about -- rarely from rooms (unless the door is unlocked), but in Soleil or the Citadel, weapons may just vanish. This is absolutely, entirely opt-in.
The plot is on the post here! It is open for characters to realize their weapons (or "weapons") have gone missing, to talk to those implicated (poorly) in similar notes, to search for clues, or to encounter chickens (please see the post for more). Below, there are three sign-ups:
1. BADLY FRAMED INDIVIDUALS: These are the poor souls who have been framed with badly written notes. Whether anyone believes they have done this... well, that's only for the gods to say.
2. STOLEN WEAPONS: If your weapon was stolen, please note it here! This will be relevant in the finale. If your character was framed, feel free to comment on another character's to be framed for the theft of their weapon.
3. ASK FOR A CLUE: Searching for the culprit can reveal notes, which will lead on wild goose chases (and, eventually, to the culprit).
The culprit will be revealed on the weekend of August 3! There will be a sign-up for an encounter, which will be a little limited, closer to then. The weapons will be recovered then, and can be stolen at any point until the 3rd!
If you have questions or want to plan, please feel free! This is meant to be a lighthearted, funny plot to give everyone a break (... kind of). I hope you have fun!

It looks like a normal rifle in its structure, but it's grey with a bunch of glowing runes on it that probably adjust a bunch of things about functionality if you know how to work with them.
