Lunar Portents
Locals both mundane and magical living close to a certain forest in Europe have complained of strange dreams of a white boar being hunted by some kind of otherworldly force in darkness, and being visited by people they feel strongly about. As this matches up from recent visions from Cassandra, there is reason to believe the two may be connected, which is a cause of some concern.
Moving Paintings
An internationally famous art gallery in America has had several incidents of valuable paintings and statues being noticeably out of place. Authorities have been writing it off as a prank, but anecdotal reports have noted that it only seems to be abstract works of art - things that can’t be identified as about conventional living creatures - that are suffering these mysterious incidents.
Dormant Experiment
Thanks to the tireless work of Daybreak Academy’s finest, the being that was originally fated to become the next Herald has been extracted from the Outlands and brought into secure, high-security confinement. It has since fallen into what appears to be a hibernation state, and is being studied during this time in attempts to understand it better.
Restless Spirits
There have been more reports of unruly spirits and other, less easy to hide supernatural phenomena than usual for this time of year. Many fear that Veil-piercing outbreaks of overtly supernatural activity will soon be unable to be brought under control, and cite Nightfall as the cause. Discussions in order to figure out what the plan of action should be when it comes to more uncontrollable, obvious outbreaks are underway.
Vanishing Butterfly
Avid fans of the wildly popular musical sensation Monarch have taken to social media around the world to express their dismay at the announcement that her upcoming world tour would be cancelled. Though fans have already started several petitions to show their love and support for her, Monarch’s managers continue to only express polite regret that she is unavailable to perform at this time, for unspecified reasons.
Ship Sunk
Reports of a phantom vessel haunting the shores of southern France have finally been laid to rest after hobby divers found the remains of a shipwreck believed to match the rumored ‘ghost ship’. Though it’s not known how a ship sunk in the 1700s managed to find its way to shallower waters (and locals along the coast swear that they’ve never found the ship’s remains before, despite searching extensively), local authorities report that it’s most likely some kind of prank or publicity stunt, and are declaring the issue officially resolved.
