Dissolving Omens
The strange creatures known to some as ‘Grimm’ have been reported wandering directionless and without purpose over the Outlands. While still extremely dangerous, they seem to be lacking their former vindictiveness towards the living, as if something else driving them has faded.

Restless Night
Ever since the winter solstice, there has been a noticeable uptick on social media of discussions of ghosts, especially the ghosts of loved ones or those who have been missed. While most of these have been treated with a certain level of skepticism, there are too many similar anecdotes for it to be a coincidence, especially with other events that coincided with the winter solstice.

Fire in the Sky
On December 16th, an extraordinarily large, anomalous surge of electricity was picked up in the mountains of Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany. Several people hiking on the mountain’s slopes also reported seeing strange lights and fires in the sky. No explanations or publicly released reports have been given for why this might be, though it made local news for several days as people speculated on what might have happened to cause such an event.

Trail of Destruction
Several large, normally dangerous supernatural creatures that become active in winter were spotted in various states of unconsciousness or severe injury early on in December. While local magical authorities were somewhat relieved to see that they were causing no further trouble, they also report feeling slightly unnerved that all damage appears to be consistently done by one individual. They also express some concern that the vague trail they form leads to the Academy. There has been no further investigation as of yet.

Study Concludes
After several months of extensive research and surveys studying the unnatural appearance of the Wild Hunt, the group of experts have concluded that the fae were in an unusual state of agitation and were driven to seek out ‘stronger hunters’ by some unknown force. It is currently speculated that this force might be another Herald, one of the strange entities whose purpose is to attempt to bring about Nightfall.

Stolen (?) Artwork
Several abstract pieces from a famous art gallery in America have simply gone missing. Security cameras appear to have no footage of the nights when they vanished, though security guards on duty at the time have reportedly testified that the exhibits began to move by themselves and ‘left the gallery under their own power’.
None of the missing pieces have been found as of yet.
