JANUARY ANNOUNCEMENTS

JANUARY ANNOUNCEMENTS
IC Comm | Network Comm | OOC Comm | Navigation

Hello and welcome to January's Announcement post! Today, we only have one real announcement to make, and that involves Player Plots.

PLAYER PLOT QUEUE
We’ve been blown away by the huge amount of player plots that are running and ongoing in the game. It’s a huge testament to you players and how engaged you are in the game and the setting and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Due to the volume, however, we are going to need to implement a new system to better manage the plots and make sure everyone has a chance to get theirs in. As such, we’ll be instituting a queue. We will be publicly posting all player plots in queue and what their scheduled month is. If there is an open slot, you may at the time of submission post your desired date and slot in, if not, you’ll be placed in the first open space. The goal of this system is to ensure everyone’s plot gets ample attention and room to breathe, and so that players aren’t overwhelmed by more ongoing plots than they are able to engage with.

Plots will be given priority on a first-come-first-serve basis by date of approval. We will always review and approve plots in order of submission, but if the submitted plot has issues or requires revision we will not hold that slot until it has been approved by the mod team.

For each month, we will permit 2 smaller player plots (plots that involve a small group of players) as well as 1 major plot (plots that can potentially impact the entire game). Additionally, certain months will have no major plot slots open depending on what is going on with the mainline game plot, we will have this marked in the queue.

CONTINUED FEEDBACK & IMPROVEMENT IDEAS
Daybreak Academy has changed a few things in the past month and a half, and we want to know your thoughts. What's working, what isn't, and how can we improve? We invite everyone to leave their feedback over the past month in the comments here. In addition, we would love to hear from all of you about things that you might want to see in the game itself. We can't guarantee that we will be able to implement everything, but we want to make Daybreak Academy the best that it can be — for everyone!
