This post serves as OOC planning for the Feast of St. Valentine Daemon battle. Players aren’t required to plot here, they can use their own Plurks, Discord, or any other method they want to form into groups to face down the Daemon invasion.

Students are asked to form groups of no more than 6. Faculty will have a few options - Faculty can either join a group of students to help, or form all-Faculty super groups to face down Daemonic Commanders. The Daemonic Commanders are command units within the invasion force, they are lead by a stronger Daemon who is also commanding a squad of around eight to twelve lesser Daemons, each one at roughly the strength as the single Daemons the students will be facing in groups. Daemonic Commanders are especially dangerous and their units will use more advanced tactics and stronger abilities. Either way, please only have your character involved in a single group. Faculty are further asked to prioritize smaller groups of 2-3 students if at all possible.

Players are free to plot out and thread how their fight with the Daemons will go. Daemons will generally attack with lightning and flame magic in addition to their flame whips and lightning swords. Their wings afford them limited flight, and they’re resistant to flame, lightning, and conventional weaponry. Finally, they have supernaturally powerful physical capabilities, they’re not overly fast but their punches can shatter conventional walls (the walls in the dance hall are NOT conventional and will be fine, same with the floor and the side-tables which will be warded with barriers that the students can enter but the Daemons cannot). Some may have peculiar or unusual abilities which can be determined by each group. If your group is interested in getting into trouble and having a faculty intervene to save them, this will not count toward the faculty member’s involvement in a group - any faculty can intervene for a save while still taking part in their own group.

Players should also determine if their group will be able to take the Daemon alive. The Daemons will fight ferociously to the death if permitted, to be subdued they will need to be bound or restrained which can be difficult.

FIGHT IDEAS: Yuya is going to bring in Odd-Eyes, his big bulky dragon familiar so it is... a good thing most potential property damage is limited. He also has some energy bending he can use to push people around.

APPARENTLY they're sturdy to fire and raw beatdowns so Yuya's at a disadvantage, but Odd-Eyes can provide crowd control and Yuya can move himself around the crowd to help people less equipped to actually fight so they get hide in safety. He'll definitely be stronger with others who have more effective attacks. COME GROUP WITH ME.

He can be convinced to take daemons alive because he's kinda a weenie, but he also won't prevent a group from going the murder route.

SPECIFIC WANTS: If someone wants to get dramatically saved by Yuya or dramatically save him, let's do it. Let's go full tilt trope.

FIGHT IDEAS: The specific thing I plan for White Chain to do is to stand right in the middle of where the daemons will spawn, so that when they do appear she can become a whirlwind of fists and pain.
SPECIFIC WANTS: I'd like to get a little group of the absolute biggest combat badasses to join her and just go to fucking town. In RPG terms she and her group will be the tank and will draw aggro from the entire daemonic force so that all the less experienced fighters can have less attention focused on them.

FIGHT IDEAS: Naoki's very much a heavy hitter, so he's def going to be in the thick of it as soon as he can, so maybe some ranged support would be cool? He's gonna be pushing hard for some daemon murder, but you could probably convince him not to if you're smart about it.

At some point towards the end of the fight, he's gonna get a little bit overwhelmed and go kinda berserk for a bit, running around, breaking stuff, before he just up and runs off into the woods. Someone should maybe try and stop him before he hurts himself.
SPECIFIC WANTS: Ranged fighters, other brawlers, sensible types to try to talk him down or marvel at his horrible bullshit

FIGHT IDEAS: Ekkehardt will be hanging about on the sidelines ready to treat injuries, but he'll step in if he sees students, especially those he knows aren't good combatants, in trouble. He might do a bit of knifework here and there but mostly he'll be using spells to divert attacks and attention.
SPECIFIC WANTS: Feel free to pick him up for use in containing daemons! His skills lend themselves very well to disabling and just knocking people the fuck out, so if there's any group in particular that wanted to wrangle themselves a daemon and need Ekke for extra assistance, feel free to grab him.

Otherwise he'll provide support and healing but will carefully avoid direct combat if possible. He'll stay at range unless students are in huge trouble, so if you need someone for a quick save he's ready for that.

FIGHT IDEAS: Avery has a lot of pent up aggression toward the month of February to work out and will probably be going into melee range with a crowbar to beat the ever loving shit out of some demons if he gets an opportunity.

Otherwise, he'll be a long range fighter, tossing out the occasional geyser of shadow magic and offering crowd control with his traps. He can get some good damage going by shifting to his shadow form, but given how crowded things are going to get, he'll probably stay away from that for practical reasons.

He won't mind taking daemons alive, but he will definitely want to be one of the people who interrogate them.

SPECIFIC WANTS: I don't know about specific, but if anyone wants to make use of his traps to capture a daemon alive, let me know. Alternatively, someone who will help him CALM THE HELL DOWN and stop beating up already dead daemons to focus on the battle at hand.

FIGHT IDEAS: Even without being a Tyrant anymore, this might be one of the rare opportunities Val has to cut loose and kick a few asses. Despite his short, thin stature, Valvatorez is still immensely strong and is a sword master, along with plenty of daemonic/vampiric tricks up his sleeve. He will not hesitate to wade headlong into battle and show little mercy while he's at it. I'd like him to take on a Commander at some point, but he'd also stick to a student group that needed additional protection like glue if need be.

If you'd like him somewhere, don't hesitate to ask. He's more than happy to help his students.
SPECIFIC WANTS: Val's a frontliner by nature, so anyone who needs one, I'm fully up for it. I'd like him to end up with students that might need a rock or protecting. And I'd also love someone he can fight shoulder to shoulder with like a partner.

FIGHT IDEAS: Thanks to Ky's elemental combat class, Tyzias has a pretty decent handle on a variety of elemental attacks--including holy/sacred/light whatever you want to call it. She's sacrificing her barrier runespell to infuse her teleportation, titanium transformation, and lancer-type lasers (what she made for the Bone Horror hunt, her normal lasers but with more piercing power and tipped with explosive payloads) with the holy element and a bit of the White Flame of Creation (thanks for existing White Chain) to really bring the pain.

She's a pretty scrappy fighter, but unfortunately her pseudo-undead soul clone Hollow is going to take the opportunity to crash the party and try and catch Tyzias by surprise. While also helping Daybreak fight the daemons because she's like that. Twozias's powers are very similar to Rage Form Sora's if you've played KH3, except with a fuckoff monster arm and access to shadow magic. She also only kinda wants to kill Tyzias at this point, so it should be easy-ish to redirect her focus to the daemons.
SPECIFIC WANTS: Somebody who can get Tyzias and Twozias to focus on fighting the daemons instead of each other would be nice. Somebody who has previously thought Tyzias was just a grumpy nerd and hasn't actually seen her go to town would be entertaining as well. Other than that go ham.

SPECIFIC WANTS: A mix of students who might be interested in his skillset, or a tank to his squishy mage Alchemist ass. Also anyone who'd appreciate a quick rescues/breather.

FIGHT IDEAS: Rex will be doing his best to play the supporting role (he has buffs, debuffs, some healing stuff, really good barriers and restraints) with distance offence if needed. He's pretty good at coming up with smart ways to ruin an enemy's day the easy way. But there's a good chance that if a fight gets real heavy he'll become T H R I L L E D and hit the front lines like a hammer. Indeed, if that happens, he might need someone to help him calm down before he does something stupid like sacrifice a limb for a relatively minor victory. He'll be trying to capture daemons if possible and might even try to sneak one away for his personal use. Nothing shady, honest. He'll take a relatively intact corpse too. I repeat, nothing shady.
SPECIFIC WANTS: I'm not entirely bothered if Rex shows off his calm tactician side or his wild lunatic warrior side this time around! He's more likely to be the opposite of whoever he's teaming up with, really.

FIGHT IDEAS: Michael has already specifically - and rather to his dismay - promised to protect Nana and Rex on Kano's behalf tonight. While also disguised as Kano. He owes Kano for a few things, and also they've agreed on a minor payment for this, so he's definitely going to do it.

In other words, Michael will not be present as himself for the majority of the evening! He'll be ducking back and forth between his two fake friends for dancing and food until the attack starts, and afterwards be trying to make sure that they in particular are safe. Of course he'll help other students if he happens across them, but he has a mission!

The game may slip up a little at this point, because Michael's offensive abilities are nowhere near Kano's level. He's a daemon himself; while his natural form is not as physical as the attackers, he's capable of warping and offensive magic. He may also just literally abandon his body, though he'll at least try to hide it first so people don't worry about the teacher corpse on the dance floor.
SPECIFIC WANTS: idk, with him helping out on Kano's Dumb Plan, things are going to be KINDA SILLY and I am INTO IT. Gotta iron out how that's gonna go first though!

Rex is really ridiculously observant (read: paranoid)- feelings on Michael saying one sentence to Rex and him just going 'who are you?' for some tiny Sherlock Homesian detail? Or otherwise, he's already incredibly neurotic, so just being super suspicious and weird.

Tatsumaki invited Todoroki to be her ball date because he can fight and his ice magic will be useful. She's going to use her telekinesis to take away daemons' weapons and stab them with their own weapons. She can also be utilized for capturing a daemon alive.

Midrange damage dealers welcome! If anyone needs a dramatic rescue, she can also do that.

For faculty - Faculty will be aware of the fact that Tatsumaki's Seer visions come on at random and that she goes temporarily blind after them. She does not advertise this disadvantage. A faculty member to watch out for her would be great!

FIGHT IDEAS: Orihime is playing back-up, keeping to the outskirts and darting in to help anyone who gets KO'd or wounded to drag them to safety and heal them. She's using a baseball bat as a sort of last resort. So she probably won't be helping any one team in particular and is available for anyone who yells 'HEAL PLZ.' She'll also evacuate anyone to safety that needs it.
SPECIFIC WANTS: I have a wishlist! It's not imperative that every dream is met, but these are things I'd love to have happen:
* Tsubaki gets injured - She'd have to be forced into using her offensive power, so she'd be unlikely to use it if people can see. Maybe a daemon manages to corner her while she's evacuating someone, since she'll definitely choose keeping someone safe over keeping her secrets. This will make her unable to fight for the foreseeable future until she can fix him.
* Orihime vs Daemon Throwdown - Look. LOOK. I have no shame. Can be tied to the thing above, but having a daemon grab her as a hostage or to be creepy and say she smells nice or WHATEVER would be amazing, you have no idea how much I want this. I love dramatic rescues so much.
* Teamwork - Let her pair up with her close CR for some super cool dramatic moments. She's got web shooters to swing on if she needs to jump down and grab someone out of harm's way. She can fight back to back with her bat. She can fiercely defend someone who's temporarily down and out or just unable to fight when all hell breaks loose. Let's bond with fighting.
* Healing - Let her heal someone. It would be cool and she'd feel useful.
* Secret Powers - If someone wants to get suspicious over her hidden powers for whatever reason, maybe she doesn't know they're there and thinks she's alone so she fights back, or protects someone, etc. This isn't necessarily a wishlist item, but if someone wanted to play with this for some tense CR, this is a very real possibility in this situation.

He can't be everywhere, but he's got your back if he can see you.
SPECIFIC WANTS: None! Gamma is here to make the students look cool, not hog all the glory for himself. This would be a good platform for a student who eventually wants him as a mentor, so we can start things off here if you're so inclined.

FIGHT IDEAS: Hoo boy. Lightning is not a good thing for Kris's main familiar, so it looks like she'll be playing support. Calliope - her Jigglypuff - isn't a super hard hitter but she can put out some deceptively powerful sonic attacks and, more importantly, might be able to neutralize daemons by putting them to sleep. Kris herself is very good at dodging and that's about it right now.
SPECIFIC WANTS: I'm just here to roll with the punches. I would like for someone to go what the fuck was that after her tiny pink puffball screams a daemon's head off, though.

He's got ice magic like you wouldn't believe, and will mainly be using it to freeze the daemons in place so other people can go to town or do whatever they want. He can also be called on to make protective walls, and he might jump in and help give people cover if it seems like a daemons are converging on them.

FIGHT IDEAS: Seiji uses light/lightning based attacks himself and has a pretty strong resiliency/immunity to them being used on him. They kind of just boost his own powers, so. Also he will be using a Big Ass Sword. Don't ask him why or how, it's a family tradition. So he'll be fighting but probably ditch the sword a short while in because of the close quarters of the fight causing problems with the potential to hit someone else instead. Once he realizes the lightning won't work, he'll switch to primarily light-based attacks like blinding them to gain the upper hand. He'll also be healing people who may need it.
SPECIFIC WANTS: Someone he can almost hit so he drops/puts away the sword? He also used magic to create a magical cloak/armor for himself and he can transfer it onto someone else if needed be and that could be fun to play out. Combo attacks would be fun too as he's got experience working with others and combining attacks to pack more of a punch.

FIGHT IDEAS: Sarona is a hand-to-hand combat kind of fighter. She has her tattoos that she'll be using (one of them provides her short bursts of super speed), and has temporary tattoos that can provide people with additional skills/abilities. Speed, strength, camouflaging, or even invulnerable skin (which won't necessarily prevent all injuries, but you don't have to worry about major damage from them). Again these tattoos are temporary and considering all the fighting the power in them probably won't last beyond a night or two.
SPECIFIC WANTS: Who wants Sarona to be their tattoo dealer? Also as someone who is more close-ranged in her fighting, I'm okay with her getting hurt or maybe getting over her overconfident head and needing some help. ALSO CAN SHE PUNCH A DAEMON ACROSS THE ROOM INTO SOMEONE ELSE'S LINE OF FIRE. I just want to play that out.

FIGHT IDEAS: Souji's going to have to get somewhat creative, as his current Persona abilities are somewhat limited and his lightning-elemental damage will be pretty useless. Izanagi can also cut a mother in a way that doesn't count as conventional weapon damage, but I'd still like him to get clever in helping other people be more effective or smashing someone under a chandelier or something. Souji might also try contracting one of these bad boys after defeating them, as a means of capturing them and also getting some firepower. He'll only do that if they're at a point where he can pretty much force a surrender though, which might not be feasible this time.
SPECIFIC WANTS: I want to do shenanigans if at all possible, basically, and could use the help of someone who fights well with shenanigans.
