CASSANDRA UPLOAD - OCTOBER

All Seers who have volunteered to participate in the Cassandra program are instructed to report to the Citadel on the 15th of every month to upload their visions into the system. Based on the visions of all contributing Seers, Cassandra will hone, refine and extrapolate to give as clear a prediction as possible of upcoming events. She will then announce the keywords for the visions and provide the recording of the compilation for outside analysis. The upload requires students to stand in a metal tube for about 15 minutes. Cookies and juice are provided after the upload. Students who attempt to tamper with the process are politely but firmly removed by the Golems. These students do not get cookies and juice.

“The prediction keywords for next month are: Secrets. Heralds. Confrontation.”

The first of this month’s visions is a simple one; a banner being consumed by flame, and the sound of someone weeping.

The second is similarly simple, though no less ominous; scattered glimpses of people in their various triumphs, with the familiar horned silhouette of Utultar standing behind them - though an observant Seer will notice that he doesn’t stand quite as proudly tall as he once did. Nevertheless, it’s an indication that he continues to move and plan, even in the midst of another victory.

If you have other player plot related visions, feel free to place them here. Players are welcome to use vision posts to tag and plot OOCly as to how they want to use them. These visions will occur between now and the next Cassandra Upload. Characters who share visions will be able to use Cassandra to combine them, giving them more clarity to what they see.

CHARACTER NAME: Emille

VISION DESCRIPTION: This is part of the dream vision Emille had from the time she fell asleep at the first Mark of the Herald event until the beginning of October.

Emille woke up in a field of orange Bloom flowers with a hazy, smoky sky. Some of the flowers seemed to be on fire, contributing to the smoke. The further she walked on, the darker the smoke became, and the flowers gradually became a deep blood red. Once the sky became fully black, a purple glow burst forth, creating the outline of a tribal-esque wispy Dragon skull with hollow eye sockets and sharp rows of teeth. This sigil spoke these things to Emille:

"Human. I am the Curse God Fomalhaut, and I have returned to reap your kind for my harvest. I will cause you to quake in fear and despair, and then devour you all without mercy. I hunger, and I will be fed.

I have chosen you, human, to announce my arrival to your planet. Tell them of their impending doom. Tell them there is nothing they can do to stop the Dragons. Announce this until your terror is absolute. My return is drawing ever nearer. Prepare yourselves for the end."

With that, the image dissipated, and so did the darkness. The dream continued, and she was left with Dragon victims crying about their deaths. The most insightful were a few creatures with feline traits that revealed to Emille that Dragons are weak to Orichalcum. They created a weapon of Orichalcum that severely wounded a Dragon... before it killed them all in its vengeful wrath.

MOD INPUT?: Since this is basically a dream confrontation more than just a blurry vision, and a super important one at that, Emille's going to go ahead and warn the campus about this. She is going to leave out some details that will be in the upload. It's up to you if you wish to expose some (or all) of Fomalhaut's true words in next month's Cassandra post.
