MISSION POST - NOVEMBER

MISSION POST - NOVEMBER
Log Comm | Network Comm | OOC Comm | Navigation

The following events are available for the month of November.

Heaven or Hell, Right the Wrongs (November 17th)
The templar legends only continued to circulate, and even increased in frequency with the shattering of the veil. Along with the ruins of the Lebanese stronghold being raided, artifacts have been stolen from museums the world over, all with signs of a highly-funded operation. The culprit quickly made themselves known with a parchment letter, sealed with wax, inviting a certain wayward member back to the fold - Ky Kiske.

Nightmare Made Manifest
Professor Emille has woken from a deep and embattled slumber, bearing nothing but grave news about the emergence of a Dragon daemon that bears the title of Curse God Fomalhaut. His intentions are unfortunately and terribly clear - he desires to cloud the hearts of all living things with hopelessness and despair, that he might feed on their darkened souls and thus gain immortality. As the good Professor tells it, the only thing that might stem the tide of darkness to come is to secure a source of orichalcum, so that it might be forged into a weapon to slay the Dragon and bring an end to his machinations.
This is a player plot.

Wheels Within Wheels (November 21st)
Utultar has spent much time out of the spotlight - presumably in recovery - but recent events have spurred him back into furious action. Not to be outdone by the Herald conjured from humanity, an ever-growing blind spot that bends any Seer’s attempts around itself into nightmarish feedback loops suggests that Utultar is working on something particularly nasty for what may just be your final clash with him.
Faculty-run/Monthly Events
Mini-prompts that can be incorporated into catchall logs, or made into logs of their own. These prompts count for faculty log AC as long as at least one faculty member is responsible for starting the log, though they can also be joint logs.

Players are free to incorporate these prompts into their own logs, even if they are not faculty.

Aware Of Dog
A spell has gone wrong on campus yet again, leaping from person to person like an infection. Unlike other mishaps, however, this one is at least benign - it renders all those affected with the blessing of understanding canine speech. The effects can last from anywhere from a few days to the end of the month, but for that time, anyone within petting range of a canine of any kind will immediately understand their intent. Barks will be translated to audible speech...but only to you, and anyone else who might be under the spell. Whether you can properly hold a conversation with them is unclear.

All the World’s a Stage
In Soleil, November is the time for the arts - and on campus the Theater club is staging several plays from Moliere to Shakespeare, to strange avant-garde productions, and they’re always recruiting inspiring actors and helpful stage hands, especially to create amazing special effects. Currently, they’re working on an original production of how the Academy and its many allies stood bravely against the forces of Nightfall, and they’d appreciate any direction and input from those who were there for any Herald fights at all.
