The month is coming to a close...and despite their hints to a select few on the network, Wist's spell hasn't worn off just yet. The good news is that with all this time and their tampering with the network, the school has managed to track the magic back and pinpoint the fae's hideout in the forest. Interested parties are encouraged to band together for school-sponsored meeting. Outside of the requirement of creating a team, Daybreak doesn't have a proposed method of dealing with this odd little problem. But... Hopefully if there are more of you, none of you fools will be tempted to make a(nother) dang Contract. Come on, guys, seriously.

THIS WILL BE ICLY TAKING PLACE ON THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH, but I will likely get the log up the 28th.

I'll be around to answer any questions you might have, but I'm not making a separate toplevel for it today. I've included a list of the threads that have involved Wist directly, as well as notes on how available it would have been, for your convenience.

As mentioned, there is no set course of action in place for how to deal with Wist! Fight or no fight, the details are up to you. Share potential plans and outcomes for consideration, though for fairness, the final decision for what happens ICly will come down to those who are going to their hideout.

Rex actually has no hard feelings about Wist's nonsense and is much more interested in learning their secrets. He really wants to be able to make his own life. Phantoms are so cool, my dudes. To the point, if things look like they're going to get violent he'll be looking to resolve things in a way that gets Wist to owe him one.

Possibly he'll try to arrange just that outcome, maybe using an alter ego or early model Phantom, because he's Rex and every plan needs to be too many steps.

Still in for this. Toki's pissed about Kano, and also that it's technically Wist's fault Maverick made a contract. Will he actually do anything useful here? Probably not. Will he make another contract? You never know. Will be likely help Rex do whatever stupid thing he's trying on Wist, whether he knows he's helping or not? Yes.

Shuuya will come along! He'll insist, mostly to make sure Wist will give Kano back, because somebody went off to the mountains and the woods and came back empty handed. He'll be there to talk, from the perspective of a kid who came here at the lowest point in his life, had good days with the people here, but ultimately would be unhappy here no matter what.

I don't know if Héctor will hunt Wist because to be honest he's not all that upset for himself so much as he is for others. And you know, his young self is a chaos agent.

HOWEVER. The moment he hears Rex is involved he's going to want to try and warn Wist because Oh Fuck Holy Shit No. He will not want to go in on this alone though so if he can get a buddy on that, he will.

Wist might have done something ill-advised but he absolutely doesn't think them bad and most certainly doesn't want them hurt. He'll hide Wist himself if he's got to tho his success there is not likely to be high...

Michael's actually surprisingly chill towards Wist, despite the whole Kano thing - that conversation of theirs did a decent job of calming him down. He'll go along mostly to keep an eye on Shuuya and Hector, as well to ensure that Kano does in fact come back. He has no interest in violence happening on any side of this.
