Welcome to the Pre-Game AU Planning Meme for Daybreak Academy! This post is intended to help prospective players plot their AU and figure out who their characters are in this setting and where they want to go, as well as work together with other players to plan future CR, build Secret Societies and Clubs, and generally determine where they want to start their characters, and where they want them to go. In addition to posting up the form, you are encouraged to tag around to other people's forms and discuss potential CR and plans with them. This post is an open forum for all prospective players to hash out interesting ideas for their characters ahead of joining the game.

Not sure where to start? Feel free to look through the Premise and FAQ for notes on what the game is about, and what to expect. We also encourage you to take a look at our information for in-setting Powers and Secret Societies to help flesh out your character's backstory.

works for me! he probably left for another place for higher pay or just to start his teaching career assuming there's no, like, actual scandalous reason he'd abandon employment with her family. his morals are pretty loose anyway so maybe it's all good

After thinking about it, I decided that her family being involved in the supernatural is a fairly new thing. As in, they only learned of the supernatural after she was born with dog ears and a tail and started breathing fire as a toddler. So, yeah, things got crazy there for a while but then they got someone who explained things to them and helped them with Nina's whole part hellhound thing. The moment they learned of supernatural society, they were all "valuable business opportunity!" and started networking right away. They hired bodyguards because they didn't have any special supernatural thing to protect them in their dealings. They likely paid very well in money given they were a rich business family, but there might've been someone who offered something else than money. That or he left to start his teacher career or whatever.
