Welcome to the Pre-Game AU Planning Meme for Daybreak Academy! This post is intended to help prospective players plot their AU and figure out who their characters are in this setting and where they want to go, as well as work together with other players to plan future CR, build Secret Societies and Clubs, and generally determine where they want to start their characters, and where they want them to go. In addition to posting up the form, you are encouraged to tag around to other people's forms and discuss potential CR and plans with them. This post is an open forum for all prospective players to hash out interesting ideas for their characters ahead of joining the game.

Not sure where to start? Feel free to look through the Premise and FAQ for notes on what the game is about, and what to expect. We also encourage you to take a look at our information for in-setting Powers and Secret Societies to help flesh out your character's backstory.

CHARACTER AU NAME: Cheren AU last name pending
STUDENT OR FACULTY?: Student, year 9 or 10
CHARACTER BLURB: Cheren was born in a tiny town in New York, where most of his entertainment was either studying or the shenanigans his best friends could drag him into... which still wasn't exactly all that interesting. What was interesting, however, was the world of magic, which one of his friends, a Mage Tamer, had let slip the existence of fairly early on. While not as outwardly delighted a certain other friend when his Flame began to manifest, he was rather pleased, especially with his ability to befriend Outland creatures.
... And, well, he certainly wasn't about to complain when his own invitation to the Academy arrived.

While not necessarily a 'mother hen' type, Cheren does tend to be the Beleaguered Responsible Friend™ of his friend group.
PRE-ESTABLISHED CR: It's a bit of a long shot especially what with him being a new arrival to Daybreak, but there's definitely a chance of friendship if your character is also from Middle-Of-Nowheresville, New York!!
DESIRED CR: Please give him friends he can be the Responsible Friend at. Also, Tamer friends are always good!
